Bree Loan Review 2026

Updated on July 25, 2026

About Bree

Bree, a company founded in Vancouver in 2020, gives Canadians a quick way to get cash advances of up to $350. This service helps you avoid bank overdraft fees. Applying for a Bree cash advance is fast and easy, and you can do it online in just a few minutes without needing a credit check. Bree doesn’t charge any interest on these advances, but there is a small fee if you choose instant funding.

Benefits of Bree Loans

Bree’s cash advance program offers several advantages:

  • No Fees: There are no charges for using Bree’s cash advance. You only need to pay if you want to access your funds faster or if you choose to leave a tip. Otherwise, the service is completely free.

  • No Interest: Unlike credit cards that can charge up to 30% in interest for a cash advance, Bree provides your funds with zero interest. This can save you a significant amount of money compared to traditional credit cards and other loan options.

  • No Credit Checks: Bree doesn’t perform credit checks when you apply, so your credit score won’t take a hit. Plus, you don’t have to worry about being denied due to a low credit score since Bree doesn’t require a credit check.

Bree Loans FAQs

How Do Bree Loans Work?
Bree’s Advance Service lets you request free cash advances through your dashboard to cover upcoming expenses if you qualify. You’ll only get an advance if you ask for one or choose to receive it when offered.

The service itself is free, and there’s no charge for the advances. If you want your advance faster, you can pay a fee to expedite delivery, and you can also choose to leave a tip to show appreciation. These choices won’t affect your eligibility for future advances. For more details, check out Bree’s Terms of Use, which include info about optional fees for faster delivery.

When Will I Receive My Advance?
When you request an advance through the app, you can choose between two delivery options: Standard and Express. The Standard option is free and takes up to 2 business days for the funds to arrive.

The Express option, which costs a small fee, delivers your money in under 3 hours. Once your advance is confirmed, you can’t change the delivery speed, so pick the option that works best for you. Standard advances go into your checking account, while Express advances are sent to your connected debit card for quick access to your funds.

Does Bree Charge Any Fees?
Yes, Bree has a Monthly Membership Fee. While there are no interest or fees for cash advances, you need to create an account and become a Bree member. New customers get a one-month free trial, after which you’ll be charged a $2.99 membership fee per month.

If you’re already a customer, you’ll start paying $2.99 per month when you sign up for a second or additional membership. You can cancel your membership at any time.

When Are Payments Due?
There’s no minimum time to repay your loan, but you must repay it within 65 days from the date of the advance. If you don’t have enough money on the scheduled payment date, Bree will try to withdraw the payment again on the next date you have sufficient funds.

What If I Can’t Repay My Advance?
If you can’t repay your cash advance in full, you can ask Bree’s support team for an extension on the repayment period. If you still can’t pay back the loan, Bree will stop advancing you any more money.

Is Bree legit?
Bree takes your safety seriously. They aim to be a financial partner you can trust. There are no hidden fees—Bree is completely transparent about what you’re paying for. Your satisfaction is their top priority, and their mission is to provide the best services at affordable prices.
